Obit for Hawaiian musician Auntie Irmgard.

Irmgard Farden Aluli, a songwriter and performer whose many tenderly eloquent compositions in a career of more than 70 years made her one of the last links to a golden era of Hawaiian popular music, died on Oct. 4 in Honolulu. She was 89.
