Um, love that lady, actually. Like her or not, she works hard at what she does - it's non-stop for Palmer, touring, recording, promoting, considering she has no label, she and her team have to do it on their own, why is that bad of her? It is her career... Besides, do you guys feel the same about Zizek, or Lawrence Lessig, or Pete Seeger or whoever else showing up, and speaking/performing?
Given how the industry actually operates, regarding indie artists, that's unlikely - at least, until she's in her 70s, married to Laurie Anderson and making albums with Metallica (Palmtallica? Amtallica?). It will be a cover album (played on ukueles and bongos, natch) of Metallica's first album, Kill'em All!!!!
