Odd. In the original English for this panel, the pig is just continuing the lyric from the song "I'll set you wise, he's a bird in disguise - a bird named Piccolo Pete."
The translator has presumably translated that into French while leaving the first part of the lyrics (as sung by Crumb) in English.

I suspect that there's a tortured pun on "pigez" in there somewhere.
